Jesse Bransford is a Clinical Professor of Visual Arts at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He holds BA from the New School for Social Research, BFA from Parsons School of Design, and MFA from Columbia University. His work explores belief systems and visual systems, with a focus on occult traditions, cultural syncretism, and the works of John Dee and Henry Cornelius Agrippa. Bransford’s art is exhibited globally at institutions like the Carnegie Museum of Art, UCLA Hammer Museum, and PS 1 Contemporary Art Center. He co-organizes the biennial Occult Humanities Conference in New York.
