Jess Bonnan-White is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the College of Liberal Arts, Stockton University, USA. She teaches courses in homeland security, emergency management, immigration and border policy, criminological theory, and research methods.

- MA and PhD in Anthropology, Northern Illinois University and University of Iowa
- Postgraduate Certificate in Conflict and Peace Studies, University of North Carolina – Greensboro
Her research focuses on security studies, conflict resolution, and post-conflict community trust-building, particularly examining historical and contemporary policing reforms in the U.S. and Northern Ireland. She analyzes structural barriers to humanitarian response and resilience in conflict-affected regions.
Dr. Bonnan-White has received the Senesh Fellowship and completed a research project supported by the IPRA Foundation Peace Research Grant. Her work explores police reform in Northern Ireland post-The Troubles and its implications for U.S. communities grappling with historical violence and systemic distrust.
She volunteers expertise for humanitarian training with non-profit organizations and is affiliated with Stockton University’s Department of Criminal Justice since her appointment as Associate Professor.
