Jesper Lagergren is a Professor/Senior Physician at the Karolinska Institutet and holds a part-time Professor role at King's College London. He leads the Upper GI Surgery research group within the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, focusing on esophageal and gastric cancer, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, obesity surgery, and Helicobacter pylori.
