Jesper Bonnet Møller is a Senior Fellow of Health Sciences and Assistant Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine – Cancer and Inflammation Research at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). He holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from SDU (2011) and completed a Postdoc at the Department of Cardiovascular and Renal Research until 2015. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York (2015–2019), where he studied the protein FIBCD1’s role in Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis under a Novo Nordisk-funded scholarship.
His research focuses on mucosal immunology, including novel mechanisms in fungal immunity and neuro-immune interactions during intestinal inflammation. His work has been published in top-tier journals. For more details, visit his SDU profile.
