Jesper Böjeryd is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, Stockholm University, specializing in applied macroeconomics. His research employs administrative household data, applied microeconomics methods, and structural modeling to investigate the impact of home prices and credit use on household finance, migration, and the macroeconomy.
His primary research interests lie in Applied Macroeconomics, with a focus on Household Finance, Migration Economics, Structural Econometrics, Credit Economics, and Housing Economics. He utilizes quasi-experimental methods and administrative data to study the housing wealth effect and related macroeconomic phenomena.
Recent work includes a paper on the housing wealth effect, which has been invited for revision and resubmission at the Journal of Monetary Economics. His research often intersects with household finance and migration, using structural models to understand macroeconomic implications.
