Dr. Jesús Molina Mula is a Full Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands since 2013, affiliated with the School of Nursing and Physiotherapy. He teaches across multiple campuses including Ibiza, Menorca, and Mallorca in Nursing and Physiotherapy degree programs, as well as several Master's programs including Research Methodology in Health Sciences, Advanced Practice Nursing, Bioethics, and Health and Quality of Life Research.
His educational background includes a PhD in Biosocial Sciences from the University of the Balearic Islands (2013), a Diploma in Nursing, a Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, and multiple Master's degrees in Research Methodology, Medical Sciences, and Bioethics. He is also a University Expert in Urgencies and Emergencies and an Instructor of Basic and Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Molina Mula's research focuses on Bioethics, Drug Addiction, Nursing Care, Research Methodology, Public Health, and Emergencies. His work emphasizes ethical considerations in healthcare, particularly in addiction treatment and patient care, with an interdisciplinary approach bridging nursing practice with research methodology and bioethical frameworks.
He has published over 40 articles in JCR journals and 20 in Scopus-indexed journals, with research trends showing strong emphasis on ethical dimensions of healthcare delivery, addiction treatment approaches, and evidence-based nursing practices.

Dr. Molina Mula has supervised over 40 master's theses across multiple institutions and is currently directing six doctoral theses. He has secured significant research funding including a six-year research grant accredited by the Spanish National Commission for Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI) and was hired as a Prometeo-Level 1 Researcher by the Ecuadorian Government in 2015. His research has been supported by ISCIII-funded projects on older adults, critical care communication, drug addiction, and evidence-based clinical practice.
He directs the Balear research group on nursing in drug addiction (GIBED) and leads an international training and research project between the UIB, the National University of La Plata, and the Argentine Foundation for the Progress of Nursing.
