Jerrold Vitek

Jerrold Vitek is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for movement disorders like Parkinson's Disease and Essential Tremor, with a particular emphasis on neural pathways such as the Basal Ganglia, Subthalamic Nucleus, and Globus Pallidus.
