Jérôme Dupont is a Lecturer authorized to direct research in Art and Design at the University of Nîmes. He co-directs the MEEF Master's program in Applied Arts, co-accredited with the University of Montpellier and the National Higher Institute of Teaching and Education. His research focuses on design pedagogy, critical design, and the intersection of art and public policy. He founded the Design Pedagogy program at PROJEKT (University of Nîmes) and collaborates internationally, including with the Haute École Pédagogique de Lausanne. He is part of the SITÉ research group and an associate researcher at the MICA laboratory (University of Bordeaux-III).
Key research areas include territorial design, semiotic mediations in art, and the role of design in socio-cultural contexts. His work bridges educational innovation and artistic practice, emphasizing critical approaches to design theory and urban ecotopias.
