Jeroen Verbouw is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE University, based at the IE Business School. He holds a joint PhD in Business Economics and Finance from Tilburg University and Ghent University (2024) and was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Business School (2023). His research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, family firm dynamics, and the real-world impacts of venture capital and private equity. He explores how investor interactions, resource mobilization, and health shocks influence entrepreneurial ventures and stakeholders.
