Jeroen Klomp is an Associate Professor in Development Economics at Wageningen University & Research. His research focuses on defense economics, public policy, and political economy, with notable contributions to understanding arms embargoes, military spending dynamics, and the impact of geopolitical conflicts on defense industries. He co-supervised four PhD projects addressing topics such as tourism-driven growth, sustainable development goals, agrarian resilience, and rural finance.
