Jeremy T. Fineman

Jeremy T. Fineman is Professor and Wagner Chair in Computer Science at Georgetown University. He holds a Ph.D. from MIT and previously held positions at Carnegie Mellon University. His research develops efficient algorithms for parallel and distributed systems.

Fineman's work spans cache-oblivious persistence, asymmetric read/write cost optimization, and contention resolution in dynamic networks. He has pioneered new approaches to topological sorting and reachability problems in large-scale systems.

Honors include an IEEE Fellowship and best paper awards. He currently directs graduate studies and leads research on memory-optimized computing architectures.
