Jeremy Siow

Jeremy Siow is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Quantitative Political Science at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR). His research focuses on education politics, policy analysis, and the drivers of intergroup discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, and immigrant status. Methodologically, he employs causal inference techniques to assess policy impacts on political participation and democratic attitudes, with a regional focus on Malaysia and Singapore.

Education: Ph.D. in Political Science (2024) from Washington University in St. Louis; M.A. in Political Science and International Studies (Yonsei University); B.Soc.Sci. in Political Science (National University of Singapore).

Research has been supported by the APSA Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant and published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. His job market paper is conditionally accepted at the Journal of Politics.
