Jeremy Ricketts (he/him/his) is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Utah State University (USU). His academic work explores the intersection of popular culture with religious and multicultural identity formation, particularly focusing on Latter-day Saints and sacred spaces in the American Southwest. Key areas of emphasis include:
- Analysis of popular media (films, TV shows, graphic novels, musicals) as cultural identity frameworks
- Teaching first-year composition (ENGL 1010/2010) with collaborative learning approaches
- Development of classroom communities where students co-create knowledge
- Research on tourism dynamics at sacred Southwest locations
