Jeremy Green serves as an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Archaeology within the School of Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia, focusing on maritime archaeology of Dutch East India Company shipwrecks in Australian waters.
His research spans Maritime Archaeology, Historical Archaeology, and Shipwreck Archaeology with emphasis on 17th-18th century colonial vessels. Key contributions include re-examining the Batavia (1629) and Santo António de Tanná (1697) shipwrecks through modern technological applications and historical reconstruction methodologies.
