Jeremy Goodman is a Professor of Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University, where he has been a faculty member since 1988. He focuses on theoretical astrophysics, particularly astrophysical fluid dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics.
- Education: A.B. and A.M. in Physics from Harvard (1979), Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Princeton (1983).
- Research: Specializes in analytic and semi-analytic models of astrophysical phenomena, including accretion disks, tidal interactions in stars and extrasolar planets, and gamma-ray bursts. Collaborates with the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory on experimental MHD instabilities.
