Jeremiah Coogan

Dr. Jeremiah Coogan is an Assistant Professor of New Testament at the Jesuit School of Theology and a J.P. Gumbert Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures. His research focuses on histories of books, reading, and knowledge in the Roman Mediterranean, particularly early Christianity.

Research interests include:

• Gospel literature and reception
• Intersections of enslavement and textuality
• Manuscript paratexts and pedagogical practices
