Jeremiah Alexander Henry

Jeremiah Alexander Henry serves as a Lecturer in the Department of English within the College of Arts and Humanities at California State University, Fresno. He has taught at Fresno State since 2012 and expanded to College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA in 2017, specializing in composition, rhetoric, and literature courses across multiple instructional formats including face-to-face, tablet-enhanced, and HyFlex environments.

His work integrates digital humanities and Universal Design for Learning to create resilient curricula, with specialized focus on 19th-century British literature, folklore-mythology friction zones, and fantastic literature. Teaching over 60 course sections since 2012, Henry pioneered curriculum for Fresno State's Early Start English program and led a 4-teacher cohort serving 200+ students in 2014, implementing team-building protocols and recording live sessions for off-site instruction. Beyond academia, Henry founded Firewell Technology Solutions in 2019, leveraging synergies between his IT expertise and English pedagogy.
