Jered Sprecher is a Professor in the Department of Painting and Drawing at the University of Tennessee. His work explores eclectic aesthetics, blending high and low visual culture to create haptic documents of fleeting moments and epiphanies. He holds an MFA from the University of Iowa.

Research Focus: Sprecher’s practice interrogates the overload of contemporary visual culture through painting.
