Jenya Iuzzini-Seigel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at Marquette University and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is the Director of the Communication, Movement, and Learning Lab, focusing on speech development and disorders, particularly Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
- Education: Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Sciences (Indiana University-Bloomington), B.F.A. in Studio Art and Socio-cultural Anthropology (SUNY Binghamton).
- Research Interests: Childhood Apraxia of Speech, procedural learning, speech-motor control, bilingual speech development, and communication disorders.
- Professional Experience: Researcher in NIDCD-funded projects, postdoctoral fellowships at MGH Institute of Health Professions and University of Nebraska Lincoln, clinical speech pathologist and supervisor.
Her research explores the interplay between procedural learning, motor skills, and speech-language outcomes in children with CAS and bilingual populations. She has pioneered studies on Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) treatment efficacy and differential diagnosis of speech disorders.
