Jens Schönherr

Prof. Jens Schönherr serves as Professor of Digital Circuits and System Design at HTW Dresden's Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He additionally holds significant administrative roles including Member of the eCampus Advisory Board, Public Relations Responsible for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Deputy Head of the Institute of Applied Electronics.

His research focuses on digital system verification methodologies across multiple abstraction levels. Prof. Schönherr's scholarly work spans formal verification techniques from register-transfer level through algorithmic and transaction levels, with notable contributions to equivalence checking, mixed-signal circuit verification, and verification applications in material handling systems.
