Jens Noack is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW Sydney's Faculty of Engineering and a Senior Scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology in Germany. His primary research focuses on redox flow batteries, renewable energy storage, and electrochemical systems. He has led numerous national and international projects, including the development of Europe’s largest vanadium redox flow battery and coordinates projects totaling over 7 million AUD.
