Chris Menictas is an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), leading the Energy Storage and Refrigeration Research Laboratory within the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. His research focuses on energy storage systems, including vanadium redox flow batteries, renewable energy integration, microgrid modeling, and thermal management technologies. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and the Electrochemical Society (USA).
