Jens Junge

Prof. Jens Junge is a Professor and Director of the Institute for Ludology at the SRH Hochschule für Kommunikation und Design Berlin. He holds teaching roles in Entrepreneurship at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR) and in Digital Business Models at the Fachhochschule Flensburg. His career spans over three decades in the games industry as an entrepreneur and educator.

Education:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Publishing Clerk at SpielBox (board games magazine) and Mittelstandsmagazin in Bonn.

Research & Projects: Junge founded the Institute for Ludology and leads the LudoLeist project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), collaborating with industry partners like GAME Bundesverband and BIU. His work focuses on digital game economies, entrepreneurial strategies, and ludological theory.
