Jens Brockmeier

Dr. Jens Brockmeier is a Professor of Cultural Psychology at the American University of Paris, holding a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Freie Universität Berlin. His research explores the cultural foundations of mind and language, particularly through narrative frameworks. Awarded the 2021 Ernst E. Boesch Prize for lifetime achievement in cultural psychology, he examines how cultural contexts shape autobiographical memory, identity formation, and temporal perception.
