Jenny Sofia Byman is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Educational Sciences, Learning, Culture & Interventions (LECI) within the University of Helsinki's School of Education. She actively contributes to the Doctoral Programme in School, Education, Society and Culture while serving as a Principal Investigator in multiple research projects.
Her research explores environmental education through posthumanist lenses, focusing on children's ecological imagination and their interactions with multispecies environments. She utilizes speculative pedagogies and digital mediation to develop innovative educational methodologies.
