Jenny Miller, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History, Politics, and Geography at Wayne State College (WSC). Prior to joining WSC, she served as Assistant Director of Research and IT at the Nebraska Board of Parole/Division of Parole Supervision and as a Research Associate with the Nebraska Center for Justice Research. At WSC, she teaches courses in American politics, rights and liberties, public policy, and social statistics.

Dr. Miller's research focuses on criminal justice policy, human rights, policy implementation, and transitional justice. Her teaching interests span conflict resolution, criminal justice systems, human security, political theory, and methodological frameworks in social science research.
She maintains active academic engagement through her role in the Department of History, Politics, and Geography, which falls under the School of Arts and Humanities. Her professional background combines technical expertise in IT with empirical research in justice systems.
