Jenny Hu Ting Yee

Jenny Hu Ting Yee serves as a Lecturer at the School of Foundation Studies, Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus). She joined the university as a part-time Lecturer in the Faculty of Language and Communication in 2013 before transitioning to a full-time position in 2014.

Dr. Hu holds a Bachelor of Laws (2009), Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (2010), and Master of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (2011), all from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Her academic journey reflects a transition from law to education specializing in language teaching.

Her research focuses on Second Language Acquisition and the psychology of teaching and learning, with particular interest in how educational technology can enhance language instruction. Dr. Hu teaches foundational courses including Academic and Communication Skills, English Proficiency, Innovation and Change, and Law. Her teaching portfolio demonstrates expertise in both language education and legal studies within the foundation program context.
