Jenny Hartman

Jenny Hartman is an Associate Professor and Researcher at the Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University, specializing in English Studies. Her work focuses on language and communication related to various disabilities, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Tourette Syndrome.

Dr. Hartman's research investigates how individuals with neurodivergent conditions convey their sensory experiences, emotions, and thoughts through language, gestures, and images. Her work is grounded in the cognitive linguistic perspective that human cognition and language are shaped by bodily, multisensory experiences.
