Jenny Chiou is a Lecturer and Conservatory faculty member at Rider University since 1999. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.) in piano performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University, a Master of Music (M.M.) in piano performance from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Science in information and computer engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan.
Her teaching experience includes roles as a piano instructor at Ya-Winn Music Store (Taiwan), lecturer and instructor at Northwestern University, and instructor at the National High School Music Institute. She specializes in piano performance, pedagogy, and keyboard technology, with extensive performing experience in solo, accompanying, and chamber music contexts across Taiwan and the U.S.
Chiou has adjudicated for the Illinois State Music Teachers Association (1997–1999) and is a member of the Phi Kappa Lambda Honor Society. Her career highlights include winning numerous music competitions and prizes, reflecting her expertise in both performance and educational domains.
