Jason Aquila serves as Lecturer of Opera Studies and Opera Music Director at Baldwin Wallace University's Conservatory of Performing Arts, where he conducts and coaches major productions including "Dido and Aeneas," "La Boheme," and "Hansel and Gretel." His expertise bridges performance and pedagogy across vocal and keyboard disciplines.

- M.M. in Accompanying and Chamber Music, Cleveland Institute of Music
- B.M. in Piano Performance, Florida Southern College
Mr. Aquila's artistic focus centers on opera production, vocal coaching, and historically informed keyboard performance. His specialization in Baroque repertoire is evidenced by his role as accompanying coordinator at Oberlin Conservatory's Baroque Performance Institute, while his proficiency on piano, organ, and harpsichord supports diverse collaborative work in chamber music and art song.
Prior to Baldwin Wallace, he spent a decade as coordinating accompanying at Western Illinois University. His performance collaborations include engagements with Jennifer Rowley, Mary Ann Hart, Donald Peck, Cleveland Orchestra members, and roles as official collaborative pianist for the International Horn Symposium and Music Teachers National Association Convention.
