Jennifer da Rosa is Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and inaugural Director of the M.A. in Environmental Sustainability & Management graduate program at Goucher College. With expertise in climate change education, geology, and oceanography, her work bridges environmental policy, behavioral economics, and public understanding of climate science.

- B.S. in Geology, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (2000)
Her research emphasizes learning-by-doing, climate justice, and community-building through fieldwork, technology integration, and interdisciplinary approaches. Recent publications analyze U.S. climate/evolution education legislation and urban heat adaptation in New York City/New Orleans.
Jennifer actively disseminates her work through presentations at conferences like the Society for Applied Anthropology Annual Meeting and the Ecological Society of America, while serving on the editorial board of Cambridge Prisms: Energy Transitions. She is affiliated with professional organizations including the American Geophysical Union and Ecological Society of America.
