Jennifer Thomas

Jennifer Thomas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Emporia State University, where she directs the Health & Human Performance program and teaches core courses including Worksite Wellness Programs, Strategies, Marketing, and Management in Health Promotion, and Modifying Health Behaviors. She coordinates student internships and practicum experiences through partnerships with Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing-Central, Vek Tek, Inc., and USD 253 Transportation.

Her academic background:

• PhD from the University of Kansas (2006)

Dr. Thomas's research focuses on Worksite Health Promotion and Health Behavior Change, investigating program effectiveness and behavioral modification strategies. Her scholarly output includes publications such as a 2012 article in the American Journal of Health Education.
