Jennifer Stone

Jennifer Stone is Professor of English at the University of Alaska Anchorage, specializing in sociocultural approaches to literacy studies. Her research examines how literacy practices develop across home, school, and digital contexts, with emphasis on language diversity, Indigenous pedagogies, and educational technology. Stone directs projects creating digital histories of Alaskan English and developing educational games like UAA Spirit Quest.
