Jennifer Stewart is a Professor at the School of Public Policy and Administration, Carleton University. Her research focuses on health and labour economics, particularly the interplay between maternal employment and child outcomes, including long-term educational, economic, and health impacts. She also examines gender dynamics in resource sectors, such as artisanal mining in Africa and Australia, emphasizing policy implications for equity and empowerment.
