Jennifer Sass-Brown serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Arts, Sciences, and Disorders within Brooklyn College's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She teaches core courses including Nature of Speech-Language Disorder, Intervention for Specific Language Disorders, and Diagnostics in Speech-Language Pathology while maintaining active clinical supervision roles and departmental committee leadership through 2021.

She pioneers community-based interventions including therapy dog programs for autism communication development and the Pre-Literacy and Comprehension Program targeting emergent literacy skills in preschoolers through tailored language activities.
