Jennifer Ross, PhD, is a Research Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Her primary research focuses on the intersection of stress-related psychiatric disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. She investigates the role of norepinephrine in amyloid beta peptide regulation and explores the effects of medicinal marijuana in pain and anxiety management.
Dr. Ross holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology from Drexel University (2018) and a BS in Biology and Psychology from Fordham University (2011). She completed postdoctoral training in NIH Resilience Programs.
Her research interests include stress biology, neurodegeneration, dense core vesicle dynamics, and sex-specific neurochemical responses. Notable work includes studies on amyloid beta localization in murine models and the therapeutic potential of endocannabinoid modulation in Alzheimer’s disease.
