Jennifer Ross-Wolff serves as Director of the Perlman Center for Learning and Teaching and holds the Humphrey Doermann Professorship of Liberal Learning at Carleton College, while concurrently serving as Professor of Biology in the Biology department since 2006.
Her academic credentials include:
- Master of Science from Vanderbilt University
- Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Minnesota
Her research and teaching focuses on developmental biology, genetics, and evolutionary mechanisms, with significant contributions to science education through leadership of the Perlman Center. She teaches foundational courses including Genes, Evolution & Development and advanced seminars in developmental biology, while supervising undergraduate directed research projects that integrate laboratory and theoretical approaches to biological systems.
