Jennifer Romanello

Jennifer Romanello is a Lecturer and Associate Director in the MS in Publishing Program at Pace University, housed within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. She is based at the New York City campus and plays a key role in shaping graduate education in publishing. Her professional experience bridges academic instruction and high-level industry leadership in book publicity.

Research and Creative Interests:
Jennifer's creative work focuses on Italian-American literature and poetry, exploring cultural identity, heritage, and personal narrative through poetic and literary forms. Her writing has been recognized internationally and published in respected literary journals and anthologies.

Professional Experience and Advising:
Prior to academia, Jennifer held executive roles in publicity at major publishing houses including Macmillan, Dutton, Grand Central Publishing (Hachette), and Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, working with renowned authors such as Julia Alvarez, Joyce Carol Oates, Nicholas Sparks, and Cassandra Clare. In her current role, she teaches Internship I and Internship II (PUB 699), guiding students through professional placements and career development in the publishing industry.

Jennifer contributes to the academic and creative community through the MS in Publishing Program, where she mentors students and integrates her industry expertise into curriculum development and student advising.
