Jennifer Richter

Jennifer Richter is Associate Professor in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University, and Senior Global Futures Scholar with the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory.

Her research examines the intersection of technology, environment, and society, focusing on energy transitions, nuclear waste policy, water governance, environmental justice, and science and technology studies. Her work emphasizes ethical dimensions of technological deployment and policy implementation.

She has published on topics including energy poverty, consent-based nuclear waste siting, scholar-activism in universities, and integrating technology ethics into education.
