Jennifer Quizi, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. She is affiliated with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) and leads the BMC VMF Group as a contract development and manufacturing organization.

Research Interests revolve around biologics manufacturing, viral vector development, and training next-generation biomanufacturing professionals. Her work addresses challenges in affordable access to therapeutic viruses and innovations in GMP processes, including customized cell lines to maximize yields.
Her publications highlight advancements in CAR-T cell trials, autologous vaccine production, and integrated training models. The CanPRIME program she co-develops trains 5 co-op students annually from University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and Algonquin College.
Team Composition: 35 full-time experts in process development, quality control, and project management, supported by 5 CanPRIME trainees during May-December.
