Jennifer Patience is a Professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University (ASU), located on the Tempe campus. Her research focuses on astrophysics, particularly star and planet formation. She uses ground-based and space-based telescopes to study young giant planets, brown dwarfs, and their circumstellar disks through infrared imaging and millimeter interferometry. Additionally, she contributes to innovative undergraduate research and teaching programs aimed at diverse student participation.
