Dr. Jennifer Parzych serves as Associate Professor and Coordinator of the School Counseling Program within the Department of Counselor Education at Southern Connecticut State University. A Connecticut state-certified school counselor with fifteen years of direct experience in middle and high school settings, she bridges practical counseling expertise with academic leadership to advance K-12 student success through evidence-based practices.
Her research program centers on comprehensive school counseling advocacy, strategic administrator-counselor partnerships for boosting student achievement, and innovations in counselor preparation. She actively shapes statewide policy through Connecticut's K-12 comprehensive school counseling framework initiatives, emphasizing equity-centered approaches to student development.
