Jennifer O'Neill is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Regis College (2024), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rivier University (2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Our Lady of the Elms College (1994).
Her professional experience spans over 30 years in critical care nursing, nursing leadership, and nursing education. Key roles include Clinical Faculty at Saint Anselm College, Clinical Educator at Southern NH Medical Center (ICU focus), and House Supervisor roles in multiple hospitals. She is certified in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Simulation Life Support (ASLS).
Dr. O'Neill’s work emphasizes clinical education, preceptorship, and leadership in acute care settings. Her contributions include developing nursing curricula, mentoring students, and advancing simulation-based training for nursing teams.
In advising and grants, she has coordinated clinical placements for freshmen and senior nursing students, integrating theory with practice in med/surg and telemetry environments. She has also led initiatives to improve clinical education standards in ICU settings.
