Jennifer O'Mahoney

Dr. Jennifer O'Mahoney is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Arts at South East Technological University (SETU), with affiliations to the Crime & Justice Research Group and the Centre for Information Systems and Techno-culture (INSYTE). Her research focuses on trauma narratives, victimology, and the intersection of digital humanities with social change. She leads the Waterford Memories Project, examining historical institutional abuse in Ireland, and explores how technology influences marginalized communities. Dr. O’Mahoney holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of East London (2013), an MSc from the University of Edinburgh (2004), and a BSc from University College Cork (2003).
