Jennifer McEntee, MD, MPH, MA.Ed serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, with appointments across Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Palliative Care. She is a core faculty member in the Department of Medicine's Division of Hospital Medicine and holds the significant leadership position of Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. McEntee provides clinical care at multiple sites including UNC Hospitals Chapel Hill, UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus, and the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro.
Her educational journey includes dual undergraduate degrees (BS and MA) from the University of Notre Dame, an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, an MD from the University of Oklahoma, residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UNC Chapel Hill, a fellowship in Palliative Care at Duke University, and a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame.
