Abhijit V. Kshirsagar

Dr. Abhijit V. Kshirsagar serves as Covington Distinguished Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine within the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. He holds dual leadership roles as Chief Medical Director of UNC Dialysis Care and Medical Director of Carolina Dialysis Siler City.

He actively engages medical students, residents, and fellows in nephrology education while investigating cardiovascular disease relationships in kidney patients and chronic kidney disease screening methodologies.
