Jennifer Maxwell is an Associate Professor at Kent State University's School of Peace & Conflict Studies, located on the Kent campus. She has taught conflict theory and intervention skills since 1983. Her office is in 321 Bowman Hall, part of the Center For Applied Conflict Management.

She leads the Dissociated Coercion Project, an applied research initiative addressing these issues.
