Jennifer Malvezzi is a fixed-term researcher at the University of Parma, Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Enterprises. She holds a PhD in Performing Sciences and Multimedia Production (2019) with a thesis on Italian Expanded Cinema.
- Graduated with honors in "Performing Sciences and Multimedia Production" (2014)
- Coordinated PRIN projects on Italian film criticism and production history
- Curator of "Art & Experimental Film" restoration project
- Co-editor of the journal Cinergie. Cinema and the Other Arts
Her research spans visual culture studies, media archaeology, and Italian film criticism. She has authored monographs on video theatre and co-edited publications on experimental cinema. She teaches courses on new media aesthetics, cinema history, and radio/television history at the University of Parma.
She collaborates with institutions like CAPAS (Parma), Eye Film Museum (Amsterdam), and Museo del Novecento (Milan) for cultural projects. Office hours are held on Tuesdays at the Pilotta campus.
