She is currently writing a book on the political economy of sexual violence in the United States.
Her recent publications span journals such as Feminist Legal Studies, Feminist Theory, and Journal of Humanistic Psychology, reflecting a strong trend toward interdisciplinary critique of law and social policy. Topics include the use of the 8th Amendment to challenge poverty governance, the co-optation of feminist ideals by financial capitalism, and community-based alternatives to crisis care.
Jennifer was counsel in Johnson v. Grants Pass, a class action lawsuit that reached the U.S. Supreme Court in 2024, defending the rights of unhoused individuals. This litigation experience deeply informs her academic work.
She previously served as Associate Faculty at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research from 2021 to 2025, contributing to public-facing humanities education. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to reduced inequalities and quality education.
She mentors emerging scholars and is involved in advocacy-oriented research networks. While no formal advisees are listed, her collaborative work suggests active engagement with early-career researchers. She has not received publicized scientific awards to date.
Jennifer is affiliated with research communities focused on critical legal studies and feminist theory. She contributes to academic discourse through her ORCID profile (0000-0001-7938-3769) and public scholarship initiatives.
