Jennifer L. Wolff, PhD, MHS, is the Eugene and Mildred Lipitz Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. She also holds a joint appointment in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Wolff serves as Director of the Roger C. Lipitz Center for Integrated Health Care and is a core member of several research centers, including the Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research (CHSOR), the Center on Aging and Health (COAH), and the Center on Innovative Care in Aging.

Dr. Wolff is a leading expert in health services research focused on aging, complex health needs, and family caregiving. Her research investigates how family caregivers influence patient-clinician interactions and how health systems can better support older adults and their caregivers through innovative programs and policy. She has contributed significantly to understanding long-term care, assistive technology, and chronic disease management in aging populations. Her work is highly interdisciplinary, bridging public health, geriatrics, and health policy.
Her recent publications reflect a strong focus on advance care planning, dementia care, caregiver burden, and digital health tools such as shared patient portals. These works often employ clinical trials, national survey analyses, and qualitative methods to inform scalable interventions.
